Q. Is it really free?
A. Yes, 99.9% of the time, it’s free. We work with hundreds of Franchisors, Licensing and Business Opportunities and even existing businesses for sale. These businesses use our services to help find qualified and educated buyers. Just as employers pay “Head Hunters” or employee placements agencies for finding them the right candidates, these companies pay us directly for helping them find the right franchisees. While our services can be invaluable, you’ll likely never pay anything to us.
Q. Doesn’t using your services add something to my start up expenses?
A. No, never. The Franchisors, Licensing, and Business Opportunities that we work with understand that when we introduce a client to them, they’ve been educated about their offering. In short, they use our services to find qualified candidates who understand their business model and who have a strong understanding of their own skills. The initial franchise fee and total investment stays the same to you as if you were to have found the business on your own. This is in accordance to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and their guidelines.
Q. What if I don’t want to buy a Franchise or a business? Am I obligated to keep working with you?
A. Of course not. If at any time, for any reason, you decide that we are not a good fit, simply tell us and we’ll part ways the best of friends. Not everyone should own their own business, so if you–or we–discover that you may be better suited doing something else, the process can stop or simply be put on hold. As mentioned, our network extends well beyond franchising, and if we feel an introduction should be made elsewhere, that is fine too.
Q. Why can’t I simply contact the Franchises that I already know I like myself?
A. You can, but you may eventually find out, often after many hours of research and waiting for information, that the Franchises that you like may not be available in your market and it may not meet your needs. Quite frankly, there is probably a much better fit out there that you wouldn’t otherwise consider. This is why receiving help from a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) can help to streamline your search. We’re truly the best at what we do and we have direct access to hundreds of brands and opportunities that understand and appreciate that we help our clients become better educated about business ownership. In short, we can save you a lot of time and energy while getting you in front of the right people.
Q. How long will the Free Consultation take?
A. Everyone is a little different, but in general the initial call can take just a few minutes. We may also provide assessments to aid in the search, in addition to continued discussions until we are both comfortable we have found the right fit. In any case, there is never a fee and when completed, you’ll have a much better understanding of what contributes to a successful business venture, regardless of whether or not you decide to move forward.
